I have been a writing teacher (creative writing and composition) for many years, but I still love being a student. This poem came out of an online workshop on surrealist poetry offered by Poets on The Coast, taught by poets Susan Rich and Kelli Russell Agodon. I highly recommend Kelli’s latest book, Dialogues with Rising Tides, and am anxiously awaiting Susan’s forthcoming Gallery of Postcards and Maps.
